Kannada Seva Sangh and Kannada Mahila sangh Dadra and Nagar Haveli organized Annual Day Celebrations
today at Garden City Hall, Samaravani, Silvassa.
Kannada Seva Sangh is an organization of karnataka state people staying at Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The Organization always works towards education and health care at rural areas and urban areas along with the upholding and imparting the rich culture and heritage of karnataka state.
The Annual Day Celebration organized today been attended by the large numbers of the Karnataka people. The Programme started with lamp lighting followed by the shri Ganesh stuti. The chief guest and guest of honors are been honored with token of memory and bokey made by the tribal family of khanvel area to uphold the art of local tribal. The chief guest Mr Uday marballi sir and the Guest of honor Dr Narayan Kamath sir told the work function of the Kannada Seva Sangh in Dadra and Nagar Haveli is praiseworthy and it should increase in future too.
Dr Ganesh Vernekar, president Kannada Seva sangh narrated about the work done by the Kannada seva sangh in his Annual report. He urged all the kannadigas should get united to strengthen the Kannada seva sangh. He encouraged all to consider as it is my Kannada Seva Sangh rather than telling it is our Kannada Seva Sangh.
Mrs Kanti shetty, president Kannada Mahila Sangh also narrated about the activities done by the Kannada Mahila sangh mainly urged to get united.
The Senior karnataka members Mr Karanth sir and Mr Lokeshappa sir been facilitated on this occasion.
The meritorious students of karnataka state origin been awarded and also the winners of the sports meet held by Kannada Seva Sangh been awarded with trophies and certificates.
The prayer been offered to the departed souls of kannadigas in previous years.
The Programme was followed by the Cultural programs of kannadigas mainly kids, ladies and gentlemen. It was followed by the Karnataka Dinner.
